About
Dr. Shelli Jackson
My Perspective
We all face challenges and tough times in life, and each of us has a unique combination of strengths and struggles.
There are times when the usual ways of coping and achieving are just not working, no matter how emotionally strong, well-equipped, or healthy you may consider yourself. Sometimes we face situations for which we have no roadmap and no idea how to even start. Unfamiliar territory or an uncertain future can feel scary and overwhelming.
Even in familiar territory, change and persistence can be hard. We sometimes stall in our efforts and run into the same problem repeatedly. These are all times when adult ADHD therapy or anxiety therapy for adults can help.
How I Help
Most people can benefit from therapy at some point, but asking for help can feel difficult. I commend you for seeking support.
I partner with my clients to help them:
Set and reach meaningful goals
Recognize their values and strengths
Identify needs and challenges
Learn and apply tools to reduce problems
Succeed in change efforts to improve daily life and satisfaction
Whether you’re navigating ADHD, anxiety, or both, our work is tailored to your unique experiences and goals.
My role is to help you understand how your mind works, use your strengths intentionally, and build strategies that help you thrive in everyday life.
