Helping Adults Strengthen Working Memory and Improve Daily Life
Is ADHD Making It Hard to Get Things Done? Cogmed Can Help
Do you lose track of things, your keys, your deadlines, your to-do list and then feel frustrated with yourself for running behind again?
Do you zone out during meetings, only to feel stressed or embarrassed when asked a question you missed?
Maybe this is your first time exploring options beyond medication for ADHD. Or maybe you’ve tried productivity tools and reminders but sticking with them feels impossible.
You’re not alone. Many adults with ADHD face challenges like:
Constantly misplacing items
Trouble comprehending when reading
Forgetting important tasks or details
Overcommitting and struggling to follow-through
Making careless mistakes at work
Feeling overwhelmed by deadlines
Often, knowing the right strategy isn’t the problem, it’s remembering it at the right moment and following through consistently.
Cogmed, a digital training program with fun, targeted brain exercises, is designed to improve working memory, which can decrease day-to-day ADHD struggles with improved focus and attention.
What Is Cogmed?
Cogmed helps improve attention and focus by strengthening working memory, your brain’s ability to hold and use information in real time. This skill is essential for executive functioning, which is often challenging for adults with ADHD.
Developed by neuroscientists and backed by research, Cogmed is more than a brain-training app.
It’s a structured, evidence-based program with lasting results, and I guide you every step of the way as a licensed psychologist, ADHD specialist, and certified Cogmed coach.
How Does It Work?
Each week, we’ll meet to:
Keep you motivated and accountable from start to finish
Track progress and celebrate wins
Provide extra support in challenge areas
Cogmed is online and can be completed from home or work, at your own pace, with consistent guidance and support from me.
The program adapts to your performance, challenging you just enough to keep moving forward.
The program includes 25 short, engaging training sessions (4–5 per week over 5–7 weeks)
Here’s what to expect:
Intake Appointment: Discuss ADHD experiences and create a personalized plan
Start-Up Session: Get set up and complete a baseline training session
Self-Paced Training: Complete exercises independently
Weekly Check-Ins: Review progress, troubleshoot, and stay on track
Wrap-Up Session: Review gains and plan next steps, with optional follow-up executive functioning support
Why Working Memory Matters
Improving working memory can transform daily life by helping you:
Keep track of what you’re doing without forgetting steps or details
Follow through on tasks without getting derailed
Stay focused even when distractions pop up
Juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively
Improve reading comprehension and information retention
Pause and respond thoughtfully instead of acting impulsively
Build confidence in mentally demanding situations
Strengthen relationships through reliable follow-through
By targeting this core skill, Cogmed supports meaningful improvements, not just during the program, but long after it ends.

I’d be honored to support you in exploring this option. Reach out to see if it feels right for you.
After over 20 years helping adults with ADHD, I know how frustrating it is when strategies don’t stick. While reminders, to-do lists, and planners help, Cogmed targets the brain-based processes that underpin attention, organization, and follow-through.
With stronger working memory, strategies “click” faster, habits feel easier to maintain, and you bounce back more quickly when off track.
I’m currently the only provider in Oklahoma offering Cogmed and have seen firsthand the positive impact it has for adults who previously felt stuck.
